About Me...

Hello, and welcome to my class!! 

I am excited to share my love for teaching and dance with you. My name is Denise Hughes and I am the Secondary Dance Teacher/ Dance Director for the Spartanettes here at Rembrandt Secondary. This is my 3rd year teaching and Directing with Vanguard Academy. I have a background of 15+ years in dance; Training in competitive, classical and Professional Prefromance. Im a Collage Graudute from Sam Houston State Univeristy, GO BEARKATS!! 

In my  Class you will get to explore the many genre of Dance. Which include Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Modern, Lyrical, Cotemporary and world cultural Dance. My class is a participation based class which will include learning, presenting and preforming. I hope your as excited / eger to learn, grow and have fun!!!
