Hello! My name is Ricardo Reyes Jr. I am the Elementary Music Teacher for Van Gogh Pharr.

I've had the privilege of working and learning in different areas of music for 30+ years. Whether it singing in Choir all through Jr High, High School, and 2 years of Collage, learning and playing Drums/Percussion since the age of 7, or learning and teaching students audio and video production and editing. Music is my life!

How did I get into Teaching?  Before 2020, I was a Children's Pastor for over 15 years. I was able to work with many different generations of kids and young teen. In my time as a pastor the Lord granted me the ability to learn many skills and talents that I would then apply to teaching and mentoring the kids and students I worked with. In 2020 the Lord guided me into a different direction and opened a door here at Van Gogh. I praise God every day for the opportunity He's granted me to continue to use the skills and talents he has blessed me with but now in a new setting.
