Welcome to music class! 

Hello I am Miss Cano. I graduated from the University of Texas Rio Grade Valley with my Bachelors of  Fine Arts in Music Performance with a concentration in Voice. I love to worship, spend time with family, and travel. 

Music Journey: 

My singing journey began in my middle school years as I joined choir. Despite being an extremely shy student, I knew I wanted to sing. I continued my music journey in high school choir as well as being a choral member of Valley Symphony Orchestra. I was sponsored with classical voice lessons by amazing people who invested in my career. I  met excellent music teachers who made a difference in my life as a musician. 

As my love grew for singing, I decided to pursue a degree in music. Studying music has opened many opportunites in my life. I was able to study abroad in Oxford and Falmouth England with great classical vocal coaches performing in beautiful venues and church's. 

Why education? 

Throughout my singing journey, I have been blessed with many mentors and helpers along the way. Because of this, I want to pass on my knowledge to the next generation and give them the support and help the way I received it. I hope to make a difference with love and compassion in my students musical journeys.
